SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN AGRICULTURAL LABOR AND FARM SAFETY MEETING will be held in MSUE Lenawee office on March 14, 2014. The meeting will assist the Ag employer in understanding issues and regulations impacting their employees and farm. The afternoon program will feature the training Series “Updating Farm Safety Plans: Promoting a Safety and Health Management System for Agriculture” (3 RUP credits).  Registration is $30 by February 28, 2014, and $35 after that date. 2014 IRRIGATION WORKSHOP will be held in Dundee on March 17, 2014. All irrigators are invited, including growers of field crops, fruits, vegetables, and ornamentals (2 RUP credits). Early registration is $50 per person by March 10, onsite registration is $75 per person.  Registration includes lunch and materials.
